There is no quick and easy, overnight way to learn to speak a foreign language with any degree of fluency. The differences between the types of Spanish spoken in different countries is very much like the differences between English spoken in Great Britain and English spoken in the US. The differences are primarily in pronunciation and in vocabulary. Because Spanish uses primarily the same alphabet as English, an "entirely audio" approach can be successful in teaching a person to read, write and speak. This approach could be developed with many major languages, but perhaps not all. Some languages would require texts. At this point no other languages are available. Living in an environment where the language is continually spoken is undoubtedly one of the best things you can do to help you learn a foreign language. Listening and imitating native speakers is always going to help. But it is not always enough. Little children usually learn language that way, but you should remember that they learn it as their first language and have little other means of communicating. Learning a second language is quite different. It is almost always necessary to learn the structure of the language AND accompany that with a lot of practice in order to become functional and fluent.
